Survivors and Supporters
Please join me to help raise money for the Terry Fox Run for Cancer Research in Central Park on Saturday, October 7th at 9:30am. The run honors a true Canadian hero, Terry Fox. After Terry lost a leg to cancer, he attempted to run across Canada (at age 18!) to raise awareness and funds for cancer research, running a marathon every day on one leg. Sadly, Terry passed away before he could complete his run, but his courage continues to inspire us today.
All of the donated money (100% of every dollar!) goes directly to our relationships at Memorial Sloan Kettering – all event costs are sponsored through CANY or other donors. The lab focuses on immunotherapy research to treat acute and chronic leukemias. This is a 5k run/walk with great breakfast foods, live entertainment and awesome raffle prizes
As a recent cancer survivor, I am very passionate about raising money that goes directly to the right people. This is a great way to support a critical research lab, make friends and have a lovely Saturday!
Let me know if you have any questions!
THANK YOU!
